We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.

Everyday we get more evidence that the most revered organizations in America are willing to help re-segregate daily life. Today, I woke up to the Washington Post and Harvard-organizations ostensibly committed to "truth"-(continuing) to help re-segregation along.

Know what creates empathy? Books. Reading about people unlike ourselves and experiences we'll never have. Which is why some people want to remove those books and discourage reading. Kids and adults should read widely. Most spend their spare time online, which is where indoctrination often begins.
