A chart from the CBO assessment of HR1, the Republican tax & spend bill, showing household income declining for the lowest 4 income groups over the next 10 years, and increasing for the highest 5 income groups, with the largest benefit going to the highest income group, by over 4x.

The #biguglybill is a wealth transfer from poor —> rich.

-Food benefits cut by $100s of billions
-Medicaid cut by $800 billion
-11 million people lose health care
-Tax cuts for the rich
-Adds trillions to the deficit

Republicans will try to erase the baseline to avoid the truth.

Ode to the many talented and brilliant federal authors who contributed so much and made the NNA what it is today, but who are unable to work on it going forward and are therefore absent from this list. Their contributions are indelible and enduring.
