Tuesday night at FLGS we played "Villages of Valeria" and "Yspahan." I did terribly at both, probably because I was teaching. Yeah. That's the reason.

NYC is 74 degrees W longitude.
Tokyo is 140 degrees E.
So I'd say Tokyo is 146 degrees west of NYC (rather than 214 degrees east).

Finished "The Light in the Dark" chapter from "Chronicles of Crime: 1400" with a final score of 65/100 - not great, but happy with how we did. More importantly, we had a great time playing. No doubt we'll pick up another in the "Chronicles of Crime" series.

Quark Episode 2 is an obvious Star Wars parody, but I was also struck by the direct adoption of some sound effects from Star Trek TOS.

Monday played Milkman by @joshuajmills.bsky.social @dicehateme.bsky.social with @kbowenwriter.bsky.social - a nifty little dice manipulation delivery game. Somewhat prone to AP. Nice components except that the milk bottles keep falling down
