Major issues with the availability and reliability of our transport service as well. I live an hour away from Belfast and if I wanted to get a bus it would literally take 2.5 hours, IF everything runs on time.

She also appears to think that not having been a billionaire for her whole entire life gives her the right to speak for all women on issues of safety. Some of us are still in the 'public toilets' phase of life and guess what, she's not making me feel any safer at all. In fact, quite the opposite.

The word "love" in particular seems ever more abused, but I think we should also not let "hate" become synonymous with "resistance", and that ol' switcheroo has been brewing for quite some time. Anyway, be careful with MLK, that's all I'm saying.

We're quoting MLK again: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." I think it's time we talked about definitions of 'love' and 'hate' though.

I was at the Trans Day of Remembrance service that Mike showed up to, many years ago. Clearly it didn't make much of an impression. It did on me. I remember how grateful people were that he had been there, how much hope it gave them. I wonder how they're feeling today. I wonder if he cares.

Like, vote for the least worst guys (there still are some) but don't put 100% of your hope in democratic politics. It's always going to have to play a game which centres the majority. It's necessary to the systems we have, but we can also play outside those systems to an extent.

Looks like Your Party have a tiny window of opportunity to decide where they stand on trans issues 🙄. This reminds me of NI21. Can I suggest anarchy as an alternative? I don't mean in a Russell Brand way. More in a 'Let's not totally despair and remember that we can do lots of things ourselves' way.
