We recently looked at a school district auction. And most busses were something like 10-12 years old and only 130,000 miles and required full powertrain refurb/replacement.

Plus the years of fuel, and maintenance.

You have to do something weird/wild with the chassis though.

Yea we did L2 on loaner Escalade IQ for giggles and it was mind blowing that it basically demands L3.

Or at least the high end amp L2 charger GM has.

Yea when you are going from on a good day 2 MI/kWh to a reported <1.5 it's going to be much harder than a vehicle say starting from warmer weather of ehhh 4-5 mi/kWh.

Very curious if L1 can even offset any potent battery conditioning that might occur in <20°F weather if say also not garaged.

That I believe is the big reason. The main incentive to lease was a $4xx lease payment.

But this would go to show how far broader L2 access at say workplaces and other places we might spend time at will bridge the gap that L3 can't.

Lol no it's pure disappointment with Lightning experience.

Talked to someone who went from Maverick to Lightning and professes they will go back to ICE based vehicle at lease end.

It's crazy because car which you'd think would have the best information says no data.

Chevy app is reporting tire data, and it's been fluctuating...as you'd expect with temperature.

Convinced $GM threw the most marginal parts together as quickly as possible to build my #bustedride Blazer EV.

And we can't catch it in time, but our turn signal might be failing as it's throwing an error pop-up, but it only happens randomly after our initial freezing cold warm up period.

Almost need to throw some Christmas decorations on it.

Worse... I owned a pair for most of that time. One first Gen Daimler Chrysler era, and the other one second Gen...Fiat Chrysler era.

Question for people more familiar with modern cars than I am - Are a car's various electronic options all programmed into an ECU but sit dormant in lower specced cars? For example, my Buick has traction control but not the various drive modes (Sport, ECO, etc.)...

Yea it's paramount to not cross streams of work and personal stuff.

We've been side eyed by people who have never seen an employer clear house with no warning. Can't imagine being locked out of two factors, etc.

Very regional (state based) and most do not have vehicle emissions or safety inspections at all.

Realistically we have lower expectations for the Blazer.
