I have always thought that they get stalled out developmentally at whatever level their worse skill caps them, and then when they give it up they can progress more rapidly. Also maybe 2 way player = better athlete?

Do you see those who drop hitting to focus on pitching to be more projectible? It does seem anecdotally like they can get up to the majors more quickly.

You could prospectively add Benge to this list as well. And Caglianone. Definitely something worth watching.

Could there be an argument of trading from a position of strength? Even with moving Clarke and Fitts their AAA roster still has 8 potential SP who are on the 40-man.

totally! And he did hit 27 home runs in the minors in 2023, and essentially have the floor pulled out from under him by being given the 1B job and then having it taken away last year. I worry he's too passive at the plate? I'd love to see him bump the zone swing back up and impact the ball more!

The trouble I had with Keith last year was that his stats were pretty empty for Roto. Despite the sprint speed he just doesn't run, and while he doesn't hurt you in average, 13 HR and just 45 RBI was tough. The MI/CI eligibility is nice, but I think he needs 20+ HR to avoid being a volume-based play
