Every character has multiple motivations and contradictions to those same motivations and the web thus created is hilarious and not at all subtle.

It also feels -incredibly- TTRPG in its writing, taking the sort of absurd shitpost characters that players love to make and then devolving almost immediately into actual stakes and pathos.
