Johnson describes planned No Kings rally as ‘hate America,’ ‘pro-Hamas’ gathering Organizers largely blew off the rhetoric, but some Democrats online criticized the tone.

These are the same kind of weasels who would’ve called George Washington & America’s revolutionaries “terrorists.” They spend their days sucking up to King Trump & demonizing peaceful protest just as some in America sought to appease King George III.

Looking forward to No Kings Day.

as free press effectively takes over cbs news, keep in mind that democratic investments in media have been minimal -- at best -- and the party and its donors continue to light money on fire for dumb campaign bullshit that makes consultants rich but doesnt win elections or change the narrative

Treasury Plans to Mint $1 Commemorative Trump Coin

It is not clear that Mr. Trump’s image can be featured on a coin. An 1866 law enshrined a tradition that only deceased people could appear on U.S. currency to avoid the appearance that America was a monarchy. Trump admin is planning to do it anyway.

The downside of eliminating statutes of limitation is that it opens the door to this kind of massive fraud and waste of taxpayer dollars, which does nothing to help legitimate victims.

Three months ago, @gavinnewsom.bsky.social correctly warned us that failing to address our housing crisis would cost us people’s trust, and that the entire reputation of the State of California was on the line.

Call him now and urge him to follow through by signing #SB79! ☎️ (916) 445-2841

I have approximately zero following on this app, sharing in the hopes it can get in front of the right person. A man I went to college with’s wife was kidnapped by ICE at a green card hearing, and he’s trying to find a reporter who will speak to him about the situation

This is weak shit.

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

Trump administration rehires hundreds of federal employees laid off by DOGE Hundreds of laid-off federal employees who managed government workspaces are being called back to their jobs as the Trump administration walks back plans to slash its real estate portfolio.

“Ultimately, the outcome was the agency was left broken and understaffed,” said Chad Becker, a former GSA real estate official. “They didn’t have the people they needed to carry out basic functions.”

Incredible waste and incompetence

Opinion | A Responsible Way to Cool the Planet A small, carefully scaled geoengineering program could compensate for the loss of cooling as we eliminate sulfur pollution.

I have a new @nytimes.com guest essay w/ @davidkeith.bsky.social about sunlight reflection. We note its not a solution for climate change and at best a band aid to treat systems, and suggest if its ever done it should only be to replace the cooling from air pollution today:

Wouldn’t we just be reversing the trend of the last 20 years where we removed sulfur aerosols from the atmosphere and caused temps to increase by 33%? Maybe the trade off is worth it to save species, glaciers, ice caps while we continue the transition to renewable energy.

Roll back regulations to lower housing costs - The Boston Globe The sheer volume of Massachusetts’ regulations can drive up the total cost of construction in significant ways. But some rules are no longer necessary.

The Boston Globe Editorial Board is running a whole series on the state’s excessive building code regulation over the next three weeks – single-stair, Massachusetts’s unusually low high-rise definition, and the mess of different septic system rules www.bostonglobe.com/2025/09/21/o...

Isn’t “spread pricing” how most businesses make money? The grocery store and gas stations engage in “spread pricing” between what a consumer pays them and what they pay to a wholesaler.
