I think a chronological feed is great though. I don’t want my feed to be curated by what the platform thinks I should see. I want real time.

I also think people are so used to being fed a curated non linear feed that the linear feed on Bluesky is confusing. I’m finding myself instinctively pulling the top of the screen down to refresh the content rather than scrolling down.

Something like Bluesky and the AT protocol is a huge threat to them.

Massively preaching to the choir here. But the tech bros are doing a good job keeping people on their platforms. They’ve got infinite funds and resources to do it. We really need to fight against that. They have so much power.

It’s not perfect, yes. People are used to the (often toxic & addictive) features of the billionaire owned established platforms. People are saying there’s not much going on here, give up and then go and create content for the broligarchy. It’s going to take some effort on our part guys!

Using Bluesky and encouraging other social media users to do so is my mini fight against those power hungry tech bros.
