I'm not an author so I can't speak on how they feel about it but I can give you an example that resonates with me.

I feel an imposter syndrome about my degree because I graduated in a generation that uses AI for everything. It makes me feel like my degree and years of education are worth less.

There's stuff AI can be useful for, no denying that.

I strongly disagree with using AI for writing, art or anything in-between the two tho. It diminishes the hard work and achievements of so many hardworking artists and authors. Imagine how a struggling artist that's never made it feels?

I failed to mention that when I searched for BBC news I might've forgotten to add the "news" part. It was a silly morning, in my defense 🤷‍♀️
