it always comes back to the mba/vc crowd when any industry starts to disrespects it's customers.

Hacker News, which I have historically relied on fairly nuanced, tempered, and reasonable takes and dicussions has started to veer more conpsiratorial. But also, idk if you can avoid such a mind set these days.
