A cut in funding by 20% £/patient in the last 10yr & investing in other roles instead & now have unemployed GPs who are unable to get work

Simply fund practices!

GPs have done all they can to keep patients safe and provide as much as possible

Compare this with 67,000 in A&E

The reason for the concerns is we have a capacity problem & a funding crisis
The 8 am rush (it’s bad) will be replaced by the GP waiting list (worse)

Respiratory Infections Activate Dormant Cancer Cells This Medical News article discusses a new finding that respiratory viral infections can trigger the proliferation of dormant breast cancer cells in the lungs.

A Nature study found that flu and SARS-CoV-2 infections appeared to awaken dormant cancer cells and cause metastatic disease in mice. Human cancer survivors with COVID-19 infections demonstrated a heightened risk of lung metastasis and cancer-related mortality.
