This is me in line to pick up my Switch 2 preorder. I was maybe 200th in line.

Fun Fact: When I camped outside overnight at a Best Buy for the Wii, I was number 64 in line! And they had about 110 units in that launch batch. (I also worked at that Best Buy so I knew the secrets.)

After 26 years we’ve finally gotten another damn 3D DK game! It’s incredible it has taken this long, but the wait has been worth it.

With Diddy Kong Racing being my favorite game, there’s always been a slight disappointed with how safe every Mario Kart played it, after MK64 I always thought they would for sure expand the game to be more in line with

I’d argue the last eight not being open world dragged the product down. This is truly the first Mario Kart since 64 and Double Dash that does something unique (besides being back old tracks… which isn’t unique so I don’t know why I added that).

As I stared at the Supercuts from across the outdoor strip mall parking lot, I quietly judged the $14.99 haircuts casually strolling out the front door. Were their side burns uneven? Did they have the proper volume and bounce? One man was upsold to buy the hair mousse and mustache wax. Proud.

Yet they took it away with the new model.
