Artists had to rally behind me to tell him he was wrong, and he begrudgingly messaged me to try and squash the beef, apparently it's a pattern with him

Copyright is literally all the little guy has protecting them from the big guy. You might think it needs reform, I agree, but "Abolish condoms because they break sometimes!" is how you sound.

Lol, it's not artificial intelligence, that's just what they call it. It doesn't have rights, it's a company's product.

Exactly this. I have lots of examples of where it basically shifts it into some form of 3-point portrait lighting to gloss it up. They have a rating system to help them tune their models, and it's clear the people ranking them gravitate towards generic, safe lighting with punched up details.

He's not suggesting that at all, and he's rightfully pointing out you have less than no clue about what you're talking about. You're engaged in a vibes based argument against facts. Give it up.

Midjourney banned me 3 times and updated their terms of service without notifying users (which is illegal) because I exposed them. They've banned others simply for being critical of them. Does that sound like they're doing things ethically and legally to you?
