But I’m excited for this improvement to my travel work experience and this enhancement to my work life balance.

I can get shit done in the pickup line at school, or real quick when running errands. Without struggling on a single screen or having to rush home or get my laptop out.

And it’s just as pocketable as a normal (non-oversized) phone.

Now I wouldn’t fuck with this for personal, or fun, or doomscrolling.

But for getting work done without a laptop: I’m changed.

So I caved and got a 1 generation old refurbished model.

And holy shit: there are work tasks that are actually more pleasant to execute on the folding phones.

I can interact with two apps simultaneously. I can use spreadsheets. I can work with horizontally aligned elements.

I have been very against big phones since they started, and will continue to be.

However at a recent work conference: when struggling to keep up with things via phone and lacking time/connectivity via laptop, I noticed teammates with folding phones were getting shit done.

By the power invested in me, I hearby proclaim this woman, "White Woman of Next Month!"
