We had one of the little lunchbox type heads come through when I worked at GC, and I absolutely loved it. Rich and saturated distortion with a clean channel as smooth as a baby's ass. I haven't played any of their more powerful stuff, so I can't fully vouch, but I've heard good things!

That's an excellent question. It'll largely depend on what my February looks like, but Albuquerque and Denver are the closest. I'll never pass up a reason to go back to San Diego, though, so that's a solid contender as well.
