Total agree. I grew up in the seventies with a motto of : better living through pharmaceuticals. I understand addiction. The opioid crisis was because docs prescribe whatever the attractive sales reps said to prescribe.

Dental pain is the worse. They tend to be very stingy with the meds these days. That does not help.
