If this is from a Federal worker, the TSP G fund monthly return averages out bonds of 5+ year duration each month. So it's pretty unique in its ability to adjust to things like inflation. I agree its not the same return as stocks, it has some good uses but is not available to everyone.

Right, but we haven’t had a Gloomhaven sort of game that was a rogue light. Board Games like are either siloed into slay the spire sort of campaign, or Bloodbourne style death moves a tracker but it’s still baked into an entire “session”

I was wondering how you could incentive restarting in a board game. Normal video game design dictates you need a fast restart and a longer runs are often due to lucky combos. For board games, it’s a pain to reset decks and everything
