Based on ingredient availability, I ended up making a Jamaican Jerk BBQ sauce (improvised it but the base is Walkerswood Jerk Seasoning - shouts to @standalone.bsky.social). The ribs are in the oven and don't have the sauce on them yet, but the sauce itself tastes unbelievable. Can't wait.

I have a bottle of kimchi truffle sauce in the fridge that I could use as part of the base of the sauce. There's not enough to use it exclusively though, so I'd have to get creative to build out the sauce. I don't have any gochujang at the moment. But I like the direction you're heading!

I have a rack of ribs in the fridge. I don't have a grill or a smoker or anything like that, just an oven. Anyone have any favorite ways to season ribs or a favorite sauce I can make? wanted to ask here before I go hunting for recipes/preparation tips on google

While I am a voracious egg eater, I do think buying 90 at once stretches my max egg consumption capacity and risks some going bad by the time i can eat all 90. I will buy 4 packs and leave one on the shelf for the dead homies

Here's Jason in his new wheelchair! I know it's hard to tell, but he is much comfier and happier in this new one. This photo was taken today at the doctor's office. We were getting some paperwork taken care of for the guardianship process.

He said "Ah, I can see your existing claim was denied & the system says it was from accidental damage. There's nothing I can do since that is what it found to be the reason for your claim." But he was able to "escalate" my claim to another team that would have the power to review the finding...

I called their customer support and was confronted by another AI, this time in the form of an AI voice that gave very obvious signs (to me) that it was not a real person. I had to ask for a real person multiple times. I did finally get one.

I should have known better. I tried to file a claim and an AI claims reviewer denied my claim in two seconds; I indicated that it was a mechanical issue caused by normal use and the AI said "it appears that the issue with your item was caused by accidental damage" and rejected it.

the hinge swivel part of my sony bluetooth headphones broke and now the right ear cup hangs loose. I believe I got a free 2 or 3 year warranty on these through eBay, so I might be able to start a claim. should I do that, or should I fix them myself for ~$20? probably a claim, right?

I really dislike the first episode of every season of Survivor. Too much "first day of school" vibe, everyone's being too nice, everyone is too cringe. I don't need them to be genius strategists on day one, but I guess I just dislike watching the babies learn to walk, so to speak.
