The type of person that makes you excited about music and life regardless of whether what he is saying makes sense. Listening to his music has the same effect on me.

Cookβs book on the Ring is a real gem, full of insights that came from his many years of living with the Ring. Sadly, he died at 57 of a cerebral hemorrhage before he could complete it, a warning to all of us not to think *too* hard about the Ring:
