I cannot tell you how much doubt was consistently directed at the Gaza Health Ministry’s casualty numbers and how much pressure was put on news organizations to couch those numbers as unreliable.

I am trying not to post on these events in this state of mind but: I hope people understand what the observers are doing is brave and dangerous.

Affordability has had the benefit of nonstop messaging from democratic leadership, while anti-ICE messages are gaining traction solely organically through the news. Part of why it feels like democrats aren’t doing anything is they are essentially sitting out the conversation and not driving it.
