Autumn is my favourite time of year for offroading, especially after a big storm.
Slippery enough to make picking a line that gives max grip interesting and all sorts of hazards hiding beneath the leaves to catch me out.

What madness is this, putting the reg/rec there, that hugger won’t stop it getting covered in road shite.

Winter frock back on the old brick.

Same here, £25 a month for last 3 years. £350 in credit and they bumped it up to £65 this year,then 3 months later bumped up again to £72. Cancelled the DD and waiting to see what the 6 month bill shows.A cynical person might suspect SWaters motives over this.

Always surprised how clean the oil looks when I change the gearbox oil on the little 2 stroke compared to what comes out of a 4 stroke.I guess it’s because it doesn’t come into contact with combustion gases leaking past the rings like on a 4T.

Think it might be time to replace the wadding in the little pink ones silencer.

I haven’t noticed any performance difference between the various grades in our vehicles but mpg drop is noticeable. Our Yaris was hitting a consistent 50mpg pre ethanol days,now only getting 47mpg.

Out for some 2stroke fun yesterday.Came across this lovely plaque mounted on a tree and now I want know the story behind Grandad’s Leap.

True, on the early bikes oil leaks past the rings if left on the sidestand and it will smoke for a couple of minutes.

That engine needs to be on show it’s so odd looking but so practical for maintenance. Sometimes miss the massive LT fairing, never ridden anything else so stable at speed and sheltered from wind and rain.
