Then we discovered the pirelli calendar in the garage & tyre workshop & they then had to call ahead to the sand & gravel pit & sawmill. The sand & gravel pit missed a few. When we asked why they didn't have any in the sawmill they said they didn't allow them 🙌

Oh I know. Take the risk on your return time & have to get a normal single & it's MORE expensive than just getting a return. For longer journeys for 2 of us it's now cheaper to pay car hire + petrol, which we used to do but now decided we're paying to not have to drive.

Yeah a major issue I have is with 20mph residential streets nearby being really unpleasant ratruns with so many cars parked on both sides making them single lane with few gaps & drivers just refuse to wait in the gaps so it's a game of chicken where they then swear at me for not just vapourising
