Current leadership is still recruiting someone to run against this guy in the primary. π
12.10.2025 22:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Current leadership is absolutely useless so this is good.
09.10.2025 13:05 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Anyone in Texas that supports this is a coward.
09.10.2025 12:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is that they combat the authoritarian presence with the absurdity that the justification for it deserves.
Make everything this administration does look like a joke. Make fun of them, become the fun movement again.

09.10.2025 12:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So what do the citizens of Texas think about their national guard invading another state?
I realize you may not be able to do anything about it. But, if youβre a Texan and youβre thumping your chest and all βdonβt mess with Texasβ about this you are an embarrassment and a coward.
I would be stoked to be from Nagbe, Ohio.
08.10.2025 00:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Anyway
Good to see Mrowka getting two full games his last two appearances on his loan.
Good to see Habroune continue to do well with the U-20s.
I donβt care what has happened with Crew2 I continue to be a big believer in Tortola and Su.
The kids are alright.

I think your position is perfectly fair for selling him outright. Itβs just why I think it was a bad idea to sell him in that moment.
Had we not sold him then am I saying heβs really still on the roster today. Iβd love to have him but probably not.
Do I think his value was maximized? I do not.
But if your position is the FO can do no wrong and apparently laugh, Iβm not sure here at me?, then noted and Iβll just move on.
07.10.2025 17:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I mean I suppose it wasnβt a response to you but I did already say this:
bsky.app/profile/scot...
Why are you ignoring that I said I would have been perfectly fine with a loan?
07.10.2025 17:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs my point. He wasnβt worth selling at the time.
If Vancouver wanted him badly enough do another loan; if they wanted an option to buy fine but it should have been higher.
There was a reason he was pulled in after only one season at North Carolina.
Eneli was not one of the favored prospects in his draft class. To say he would have been angry at the idea of playing behind Morris for a season and a half then been in the mix to replace him and get to play next to his favorite player during his time in the academy seems untrue.
07.10.2025 17:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Did you not think Seba was a useful player at the time? Just because a young player has established players in front of him doesnβt mean he doesnβt have value.
Seattle and Philadelphia have done a much better job of getting value for similar players.
Seba was getting loaned. Seattle has gotten better value for similar players holding them but getting them experience until theyβre useful in house or someone comes with a fair asking price.
It wasnβt an uncommon thought Seba was sold for too little.
Why the hell would Eneli be opposed to signing a homegrown deal? He seems to be a pretty good team player honestly. His playing time has gone down and RSL is a worse team and he isnβt some diva in Salt Lake right now.
07.10.2025 16:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0At the time? Nothing.
If you watched him play I think he was clearly a useful player; just behind Aidan, which isnβt shocking.
He shouldnβt have been given away for as little as he was even at the time.
He was moved along because Porter doesnβt play kids.
Let me say while I will absolutely argue Crew did not get best use or value out of these two players this is slightly tongue in cheek.
I would not run the alternate timeline and risk 2020 and 2023.
Eneli was a four year college player; first season was 2023. There was no reason not to bring him in.
This is Sebaβs first season with more than 20 starts. May we have needed to have traded him? Yes, but we also got I believe 50,000 for him. Thatβsβ¦ not good.
Thinking about a Morris/Zawadzki midfield for no particular reason.
Thinking about what if Crew hadnβt traded Seba Berhalter forβ¦ well, not much.
Thinking about if Crew had bothered signing Eneli as a homegrown instead of letting him get drafted.

This news just made me more sad Crew didnβt load up for one last run with Nagbe. Could Crew surprise in the playoffs, sure, but does it feel setup to go out without a bang, unfortunately yes.
07.10.2025 15:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The appeal to purity or no true Scotsman fallacy is one of the most annoying things about fellow progressives. Instead saying weβre building on past successes there are far too many people that are willing to say everyone sucked and we do too. Join our movement!
05.10.2025 00:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve mostly just had no desire to argue or even talk to the people that said both the winter and then the summer window went fine and Crew had enough depth.
28.09.2025 12:04 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Still I take your point; but that doesnβt mean I wouldnβt rather listen to you have it out with @ryanlcooper.com, @ddayen.bsky.social, @gregsargent.bsky.social, @swin24.bsky.social, @delaneyrules.bsky.social, or Zach Carter from Slate.
26.09.2025 14:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not going to argue with you on Klein; Manchinβ¦ there are a lot of people with idiosyncratic views where depending on your criteria Iβm not sure this is true.
Speaking to the point you make often about social progressive views vs economic progressive views.
Your brain isnβt broken.
Capitalism with heavy restrictions, unions, sectoral bargaining, high taxation at a certain level of income can work.
Capitalism if you strip away all protections is just feudalism with employment replacing land and it favors sociopaths.
The amount of people that continue to willingly subject themselves to reactionary propaganda and consider themselves βinformedβ by the βnewsβ is astounding.
