Herne Bay. Shopping trip brightened by having 400 metre breakwater 'Neptune's Arm' all to myself for an hour.

Oh yeah, can still set a timer and race up viewing platform for a selfieπŸ˜€ Did need most of that hour to recover tho'πŸ˜‰

(Redshank roost and a restless Kingfisher also aided my recovery.)

Best dawn forecast for next fortnight? Best get out there.

Windmill Hill: lot of finches scattered thru' tall hedging, nice to hear a few Brambling.
Squinting out at Motney, just able to make out the Harrier roost waking up.

That'll do me 'til the next sunny morn.

And not designed to fit perfectly w. counties? I can only comment on a couple of conversations I've had w. county writers here. "Won't use as I don't know that person." Shouldn't matter..

Here, our 11 ton avg annual carbon lifestyles are what we've always known. Consume, consume. We're *totally immersed*. Phaps why talk alone isn't being heard? People not yet seeing enough bods acting as they talk? That tipping point a hard one to reach?πŸ€”

Not easy.

If not a society, no complaints.

If Charitable Society exists there's a remit e.g. "accurate historical record.. providing data that can be used to help protect valuable habitats"

All too easy not to review against remit.

70 years ago today, Rosa Parks became a legend

Tired after a long day at work & fed up with the injustice of it all, one day she sat on a β€˜whites-only’ bus seat and, when asked to move, decided on the spot to refuse

She was arrested, and her courage sparked an uprising

Or so the story goes
