Further to my earlier statement about wanting a Single bed… I’ve bought a single bed. Feels oddly deviant. As if I am challenging all the accepted social norms, bit exciting really.

I have a confession… I am a grown man, but I much prefer sleeping in a single bed. I just feel more comfortable. I really want to buy a single bed. 🤷‍♂️

But instead he seems to continue the British policy of never upsetting the US government. Trump says spend more on defence and we do as he tells us. The US threatens and Bullies our European and NATO Allies and we say nothing for the sake of the very unequal “special relationship”.

Sat in a pub at home in the UK and I have to say this something we have got right. British pub culture is something special.

I am hoping saying this will make it so. I am trying to get more engaged in this site. I am on threads as well but it’s getting a bit, well, Trumpy, and this just feels much more healthy.

FFS USA. I mean you had one job… But I suppose at least now there is an end date. Unless he changes the constitution he cannot run again. So we have what another 200 and a bit more weeks of this ? Maybe that was your secret plan?

The UK have had this for years. I’m always surprised by how slow the US is to modernise and how pleased they are with themselves when they do. 🙂
