500yr old tree in Nagano Japan

Drove around Iiyama in Nagano today in search of sunflowers. Turns out I’m at least a month too early - oh well. At least I got to see the 500yo Goudo Ichou Tree. Apparently expectant mothers visit this tree to pray that they will produce healthy breast milk.

It was a bit surprising watching the very first episode on Disney+ and it takes place in a brothel lol
