old-fashioned manual coffee grinder

The grinder I use (this isn't mine, but the same model)...

Only drink coffee first thing: grind the beans while kettle comes to a boil, french press, steep, drink coffee... by the time the coffee wakes me up, the grinding is already done. It's the *thinking about the grinding* that's the pain. Not applicable if you're still basically asleep...
