Surely it’s just going to get deducted from the price - eg a car less than three years old is worth 33.3 quid less for every 1000 miles on the clock ?

It’s just very measurable depreciation.

They’ve got the key part of this headline the wrong way around, if there were 19 public chargers for each of the 1.3m EVs in the U.K. - we’d be tripping over them everytime we left the house.

I went there on Wednesday after seeing one of your posts about it, it was great. And actually much better than the Tripadvisor reviews suggested it would be !

@patrick.risky.biz great interview with the trail of bits guy, I think the summary is that they were doing the bitcoin equivalent of running all their commands as root - and that segregation of duties would have saved them ?

There are numerous services which summarise contracts, or review third party due diligence. I think we are a long way from companies guaranteeing this, without people in the middle. Presumably products like this today don’t make any guarantees ?

It’s worth adding that most of the jobs created at datacenters are relatively low skilled cabling, power and hvac jobs.

Perhaps nick and dom think that Demis H works in a datacenter ?

Businesses want datacenters where they are lowest cost with the greatest reliability.

Each network is completely different, so you can both be 100% correct.

On some networks eg EE, the more expensive EE tariffs are prioritised over the cheaper ones - they call it β€œpriority access”

Yes, no one monitoring the time of his tweet will download them every minute and add a timestamp. That definitely won’t happen.
