I’m not understanding this. The Kia has worse drag coefficient and is heavier. Why are you adding 7%? Do you mean that the Kia would be 7% better if it weren’t for a worse drag coefficient? You also seem to equate drag coefficient with weight unless I’m misunderstanding.

Agreed. Which I mentioned in my post. But also, GPT is being trained and retrained constantly. I quoted a single training session. I was addressing how Altman just dismissed it as no big deal because humans use energy too.

I suspect it’s that weird desire to β€œdifferentiate” from other stories.

I was curious so I did some googling. 70 yr lifetime for a human (I.e. not just β€œtraining”): 321 GJ. Training GPT-3: 4680 GJ. So, even putting aside the complete dehumanization, his comparison is crap. His instincts/gut feelings are bad and his science is worse.

Under capitalism it's normal to let children go hungry, let banks force people out of their homes, let sick people die for lack of access to healthcare. But the idea that billionaires could just be less rich - not poor, not struggling, just less rich, is considered insane.

Time to ponder the sheer evil madness of capitalism

Not quite the same IMO. This is a or-tax post/meme. It is mocking, yes. But it’s mocking people that don’t understand that taxes pay for services. I mean, if you want to block all the arrogant posters, sure. Go for it. But you’ve got a lot of Americans to block too then.

Plus that video ends with the eagle giving up and flying away and the goose living on. So there’s that.

And also, Greens will likely moderate on the issue as they approach power. Just like Labour did in the 1920s on economic/worker policy.

I told you about an actual poll (there are several - here’s a nuanced one: yougov.co.uk/politics/art...). But guess your feelings matter more. Believe what you want. Just like the Liberals did in the 20s.

Counterpoint: people don’t much care about that an will vote for kitchen table issues. Plus pills show almost 2/3 of UK voters support joining TPNW

I suppose that’s what the Liberals said back in the 20s. Now if Labour would return to their labour roots then you’d probably be right. But the way they’re going now? It could happen.

Sure, but his heir don’t do so well even though by all accounts he supported actual reforms and good things. Should Vance and DeSantis be worried?

In a number of ways. Besides the obvious, it was built as a distraction for the nobles so that Louis could word power unchecked. I mean, good comparison I guess???

The social media posters he’s talking about aren’t politicians for one. And this new claim you’re making is also being made without evidence. It’s just as likely that moneyed opponents of those left/populist politicians are β€œsmearing” them as being rich while pretending to be poor.

It was me. I called him out. He literally ignored me. I asked him for evidence of his claim. He did not respond. It’s literally true. I was making no claim about whether he replies to a lot of things. I said he ignores specific things.
