There are so many bunnies out

I heard a bunch of scrambling coming from the recycling bin.

A very small (real) flower arrangement in a thimble including forget me nots , lily of the valley, buttercup, geum, chive flower bud, snowberry, green alkanet…

The first posy in a thimble I made, to lift my mood during the pandemic. The flowers are all real.

A photo of a bumblebee curled up inside a crocus. The crocus is only partly open, a goblet of delicate white petals with prominent purple veins. The bee is very fuzzy with alternating patches of black and honey yellow. Its antennae are drooped, its glossy black eye adjacent to the frilly orange reproductive organs of the crocus. Pollen grains cling to one of the bee’s legs and parts of its body. It looks snug and sleepy.

I just found a bumblebee curled up asleep in one of the crocus blooms in our garden! 😍🥹🥰 I’ve found many sleeping bees over the years, but never one quite so snug.

This is why I grow flowers. Not only are they beautiful, they are sustenance and shelter for our wild neighbors.

📕 I'm a book lover from time memorial, 😀. I can remember as a child watching my father read newspapers and books, every day.

❤️ My mother was also a book lover; her favourite were biographies. She was a SAHW and she instilled in us, her kids, a love for books and reading. I miss them so much!
