Two merino worsted hats - “swish” from knit picks, holiday colors on topmost hat - freestyle/no specific pattern. I think the second is germantown wool, “best beret” pattern.

A really cool gambier sweater I’m making for my hub. messed up the body by missing 4 rows before the big color work section - which looks pretty cool, but I think I have to rip it out! I then worked on one of the sleeves and made it too huge! All good. Will fix.

Work in progress on circular needles, brown and light brown striped headband about halfway done in foreground. orange and brown finished headbands in background.
Completed second earwarmer headband, went a bit wider. Forgot how much I like this dark brown with orangey brown variegations. Third one started with stripes of lighter brown. Knitpick’s swish merino superwash. Gentle wash and tossed into dryer for a fluffy final fo. #knitsky #showmeyourknits

Swish merino superwash - adapted from “totally tubular headband” pattern
About to become an ear-warmer factory! adapted from “totally tubular headband” pattern. Tried the cast on they recommended but my God I almost died… the complexity. Just used long tail cast on and Italian sewn bind off which I am getting the hang of. Utterly untubular, man #showmeyourknits

Rowan alpaca classic yarn balls in “satin” a nice sandy colored pink.
Haven’t gone fully hard-core fluffy, but do have a few items with a nice halo! (Mohair or alpaca mixes) and looking forward to using this Rowan alpaca classic with something else…
