I was driving around out where my Dad was raised and he pointed out a little abandoned house where the whole family got the Spanish flu and died except the oldest daughter who was institutionalized for the rest of her life after having everyone around her pass away. My great grandparents lived near.

I would survive any number of downhill events by just falling over almost immediately.

I had this conversation with my Dad (75) today. He is also so confused by this. No one is irreplaceable.

The colorwork took some concentration! I’m now at the vast expanse of the upper back. But that is really relaxing. There’s a little more colorwork in the sleeves.

It's this one. I am dumbfounded by it all as I play piano, harp and hammered dulcimer and this is entirely knobs and cables and weirdness. But I do kinda love it.
