Took me a while but I finally drew a little portrait of Momo to frame and put on my wall. She had a really piercing & deliberate stare so I tried to depict that in my drawing. It was done with colour pencils & pen.

The harp frightened him at first but I think he’s getting used to it as long as I play softly for now

After losing my dear Momo I wasn’t ready for another cat. However, I can’t say no to an animal in need. My grandma fed and caught this stray and my mum wants him, but she needs me to care for him until she can get him. So for now, I have a new cat. Vet visit booked Monday.

I’m finding so many ways I altered my daily habits to accomodate Momo. The position I slept in, where I sat, what I planted, the furniture I had & placement, little rituals for when I went out and when I came back home. It’s very hard to break those patterns after 13 years.

The skink came back to eat Momo’s cat food and I got right up to its face for a pic and the flash went off

mail redirected from dads old address addressed to the guy so I found him and let him know. In his words, “he was such a good person and he helped me in life at a time of need when no one else would, he helped me get out of hospital and let me stay with him.” I’m crying man

Then the little jerk walked around my kitchen, went behind my bin, took a dump and a piss and left

Two days later and Mr greedy guts is back for more. This time I felt bold enough to get right up close to take a picture so you can see his blue tongue in all its glory

I hadn’t seen any lizards bust in from outside to steal cat food in so long that I started thinking perhaps they forgot how. Nope! An old friend from a year ago let itself inside today
