100% agree.

It’s personal choice in the end. I think for me it would be about finding which meal would be hardest to skip. These days I can skip lunch easily (but then I’m eating two meals within 10 hours - not what you are looking for). When I was younger I’d skip breakfast.

Usually in those communities you don’t eat after midday I think.

I’m remembering Theravada retreats.

Personally if I were going to restrict I would have breakfast and lunch and β€œallowables” in the evening.

Chapter 17
The best leaders are those whose existence is hardly felt. Next best are those who are both loved and praised. Then worse are those who instill fear, and the worst of all are those who incur contempt. When leaders are not trust-worthy, it is impossible for the common masses to trust them. The best leaders are always quiet and composed, rarely issuing decrees and orders. When they accomplish all their tasks, and achieve their goals, people would say,
"This is what we are".

Did you know…
In the seventeenth century, it was quite proper to leave your Christmas decorations up until Candlemas Eve - February 1st - according to the poet Robert Herrick, at least.
So I hope you haven’t all been too hasty in taking them down.

Today we celebrate Boxing Day in the UK, so named because cats spend the day exploring empty boxes discarded from Christmas Day*

I got it open but still can’t scroll through old tweets. I think it’s to do with the size of the archive.

I have talked to the pharmacy and your insurance again. Insurance is now saying they will not cover it until tomorrow as tomorrow will be the 24th day since your last refill. The fact that your dosage has increased did not matter, they would not budge.

Thanks United Healthcare for once again denying my pain meds. I'm a cancer patient w a bad prognosis and in constant unmanageable pain, but just keep counting beans.

The hardest thing I’ve ever done is hold a child while they screamed for a parent they’ll never see again. I feel sick when I think about how there are 25,000 such children screaming in Palestine right now.
