There's a long road ahead, but we wanted to share this early milestone with our community.

If you know comic creators who might be interested in a platform that puts them first, please point them to our waitlist.

The coolest part? We've expanded our team! For more than a year, Jorge & @fanyfa.bsky.social have been crushing it on the web development side. They've been the driving force behind turning this project from idea to reality.

This project completes the circle that we envisioned from the beginning. While it's just the first step of many, we're excited to be moving in this direction. Just as we do with Panels app, we're starting very small and will build through iteration.

Finding and purchasing digital DRM-free comics today often involves too many steps and platforms and, in some cases, literally impossible. We're starting to build something that we hope will make this experience better for everyone involved.

For 8 years, Panels has been evolving to become one of the best ways to read DRM-free comics on iOS. Now, we're taking our first steps toward creating a marketplace that gives independent creators full control over how they share and sell their work.

Our team is growing as we take our next step towards becoming more than a #comic reading app.
