Yeah, they’re ignorant and uneducated. People can grow, but they often need a push… a helping hand. I still do sometimes. After the votes are counted you’re not obligated to sit at the same table and break bread. It’s temporarily setting aside differences to form alliance against a greater enemy.

There are still a ton of people who aren’t registered and have never bothered to get involved. We could really use the help to fend off authoritarianism and fascism. But we’re not gonna see eye to eye on a lot of things and if you make them feel dumb they won’t help.

People who depended on migrants and immigrants for labor or services went to rallies with “Mass Deportation Now” signs and are SHOCKED that they are not just arresting and deporting criminals, but also hard working people, school children, and grandmas.
