i've been job-hunting since February.
i had a temp gig from May-June.
since then, no leads.
i can't force a job to hire me and i can't force housing to house me.
we live in capitalism. it's not king.
but mutual aid and community care matter.
please, please help.

we're currently fundraising for a reliable used car to get to a Medicaid-safer state and to be closer to in-person friends.
we're also fundraising for a Certificate of Citizenship.

in truth, there are as many reasons for being homeless as there are people experiencing it. it's not all mental health, substance use disorders, or whatever the flavor of the month may be.

some of us are alone in the world. some of us are survivors of violence. listen to people.

i hope this becomes nation-wide legislation backed by action and funding to help the most vulnerable and their companion animal family

a used car offers safety and transport to a Medicaid-friendlier state. i will be on the street with a dog at month's end.

used cars sell quickly and private sellers cost less than a used car dealer. found an ideal one but need to fundraise at least $3K to afford it. i feel hopeful. please hope us.

i won't make it living on the street.

i won't survive it.

after i stopped living in my car in fall 2021, i knew i would not survive another bout of living in a car.

this time i have not even a car to live in.

we can apply for jobs, Medicaid, food stamps, and still be locked out of survival

there is no justice in the human world.
