Oil companies love to call solar "alternative energy" as if it's less than oil, gas, and coal. In fact, fossil fuel is the alternative.

The sun is the source of all energy on Earth, including fossil fuels. They are a fart in the wind compared to how much energy we get continuously from the sun.

"At this pace, CA will be 100% [clean energy] 24/7/365 by 2035."

And we're barely even trying! Imagine what California (or anywhere) could do if all leaders actually called out the danger of fossil fuels, ended subsidies, and made the biggest polluters actually pay for the damage they've done.
