I strive to keep #flutter animations at 250ms or less, which feels fast for users. Which is unfortunate when package creators don't let you override animation duration. Ain't nobody got time to watch that every time.

Dear @developers.google.com. This would be great, but there is no strategy for Bosnia and Herzegovina as there is no possibility to register as a merchant from my country. You could say it's a stragedy. Don't think I need to receive emails related to this.

Uneasy feeling when you realize you left a debugPrintStack() in your code for who knows how long, in production. But hey, remove that and call it an optimization win 🤪

Similar thing with getters. If you have to invoke a lot, helps to cache the result of a getter even when it's just a straightforward return of the value. I'm happy with the performance of Dart, but these kinds of things would be an issue in any language and profiling matters.

Of course, the profiler in flutter tools shows whether this is a problem in your case or not. For me with Broque, we do a lot of statistics computations on device (no cloud), and on a very slow device such as an LG K9 replacing for in loops with classic for loops showed a noticeable improvement.

So, it seems with Flutter/Dart that iterations in a for in loop do come at a performance cost. Though, only noticeable if you have to do over 100K or millions of iterations. Inspector shoved a lot of time spent with Iterator.moveNext().
