This is how I know anyone objecting to trans athletes isn't actually concerned about fairness of competition. No one is talking about trans-men. And there are plenty of cis-women athletes who could or should compete with men.

If there *is* a difference between genders in a sport, whatever that sport uses to measure performance is going to get distributed on a bell curve. One group of times/weights/whatever where "men" group and another where "women" group. Split them into groups A and B so the sport isn't dominated by

Segregating sports by gender is completely arbitrary and we should just do away with it completely and put people into competitive brackets based on actual performance criteria.

Top-level professional athletes are all biological freaks--they have larger lungs, their blood is better at carrying oxygen, their muscles are more efficient, whatever. I'll never be a professional cyclist, because my body will never be able to compete no matter how hard I train.

The way we move forward is by not electing anti-trans politicians at lower levels that allow them to use that to get elected to governorships or the presidency. Have to kill it at the root or we end up stuck with a choice between a bad Democrat or an even worse Republican.

Yesterday I was grabbing some boxes from behind the health good store when the door opened; I stepped aside to not get hit by the door and tripped over a wire fence with some wood trellises on it, knocked the fence over and fell with it all the way to the ground.
