On the bright side, at least Brexit is no longer the stupidest and most pointless act of economic self-harm of the century

Mark Kelly: "This is not surprising. Here's a guy who told Americans to inject bleach into their bodies, who sent a mob to Capitol Hill. And now I think it's fair to say he stands out as singlehandedly destroying more wealth with his bad decisions than anybody else who has ever lived on this planet"

Trump is killing globalisation.

America is big enough to go alone. For smaller economies the only solution is blocks.

Brexir died - again.

Jazz vs Trump

They are incompatible.

The American culture (freedom and creativity) is incompatible with authoritarianism.

It's our last hope.

Nearly 700k Americans died in a White Supremacists' war against Abolitionists a century ago.

Plus similar numbers of wounded and of captured/missing, totaling over 2 million total casualties.

Or 7% of the total American population at the time (31 million).

Cities, of course. Cities will always be more expensive. And great cities even more
It's called location premium.

Most greenbelts just strangulate towns. Most of them are just propaganda from the NIMBYs.

The UK is much bigger than people *feel* living in crowded spaces, towns and cities.

I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.

Residential buildings take less than 1% of UK land.

Space is NOT the reason. The gray vote is. And consulting only current local residents and not the younger house-less future buyers of the future potential houses, as they don't exist yet.

As some of you may know I am a political economist. The world economic environment has worsen. UK borrowing costs increased massively from September.
It is not Rachel Reeves' fault. She has to balance the books, but that killed growth. The only zero cost solution I can see is this πŸ‘‡

Here in France it's very common for people to buy the land themselves and hire in builders to construct their house. Speculative building of whole estates is very rare. But, then, there is twice as much land per head of population here compared to the UK.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Grouth?

Please build a straighter faster road from Brighton/A27 to Folkestone. It will remove millions of cars off London's A25, from all southern countries and even Wales, reducing congestion on the A25 massively.

Make England more efficient!

Fuck Kent's NIMBYs!
