I've notice my Agastache has started to interest some bees. I've been watching it flower and attract quite small amounts up til now.

Such a shame the Republicans don't play by the rules and the Democrats still try.

Off topic... Doyden Castle prices are a bit steep. Rules me out of ever trying to stay there.

The GOP have barely started yet, still seeing what they can get away with... which is quite a lot so far.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the reason the UK doesn't have firefighting planes is because, well, it isn't as hot and arid as the south of France etc, but also because of.... peat.

I read somewhere that fire planes would struggle to tackle a fire that got into peatland. It sounds off tbh

I thought it was Sir John Darts that invented the game... before his knighthood.

Why do they want to sleep there? When I was a child we'd see lots of Villa players living in Sutton Coldfield. My pal babysat some Villa players' kids. I saw Tony Dorigo in our newsagents.

Dwight Yorke lived a couple of hundred metres from me.

He was a fantastic goal scorer. My school days pal was from Kiddie and he got us following them when Casey was in his prime.

I remember going there once to try and snag a cutting, yet I chickened out. The tree is a few years old and large enough to easily have a cutting taken.

In Lichfield, there is a willow tree they have kept alive through cuttings for a long, long time. Dr Samuel Johnson mentioned it hundreds of years ago. I covet a cutting of that tree as I'm a big fan of Dr Johnson and a big fan of trees.

I asked the locals Johnson Society if I could have a piece

Why can't they just rake up the leaves? Or quit igniting forests with Jewish space lasers?

It seems a no-brainer.

It's no lie, they will be your friends. Sam has given me a lift when my car was off the road, and Andy and I recently spent a day at a salon. Matching haircuts!

All for Β£8 per month.

Never would have expected a Golden-ringed Dragonfly to pitch up in our urban garden. Completely the wrong environment for it but I'm not complaining! This a stunning male I think. @sussexwildlife.bsky.social @britishdragonflies.bsky.social

I'm outraged for outrage's sake over the whole thing, I'd be dumbstruck if I could shut up about it.
