One massive advantage of working from home is when I have a bad brain day that ramps up my texture issues to the point that even my carefully-chosen day to day clothes feel like they're covered in ants I can just... change back into my pajamas and resume some resemblance of normal functionality.

Many years ago I did a show called Sagas of Sundry.

It was immersive horror, great storytelling, and reality show style skill challenges.

Now I want to bring it back, but call it Tales of Dread.

As someone whose work is directly tied to crowdfunding, I prefer the employees of Kickstarter to have a living wage, time to enjoy life, and support their stand against AI Slop overtaking creative platforms.

I recommend you read how you can help, esp. if you participate in #TTRPGs at any level.

We all love the obvious graphic power of a monumental, centered image on a double-page spread, but artists, please, heed the words of someone who's been doing this for a long time: if your work will EVER be published in book format, the entire concept of designing a DPS this way is off the table.

I once tried to collab with an artist (we were both aspiring to break into the industry) who got so mad at me when I pointed this out about one of his WIP spreads that it torpedoed the entire project. It's such a basic but important thing to learn it was baffling he got so mad about it.

Average price of a movie ticket is $16/person.

Murder in Metal City is $8/person.

And if you consider cost per hour of entertainment, it completely blows it out of the water. And you can resell it!

TTRPGs are still some of the most affordable entertainment.

Ditto the margin comment. Similarly, if you're printing it, learn what a gutter margin is and make sure you include one that's properly measured for your chosen binding method.

Also, don't layer text over an image without either an outline or drop shadow. It's impossible to read.
