We find that compulsory schooling the UK reduces the reported incidence of dementia. Our estimates are surprisingly large, but even the the lower bound of our 95% CI implies moderate reductions. We find larger reductions for those with high risk based on an ADRD PGI. www.nber.org/papers/w33430
