1. Stare out of window at rain.
2. Experience a certain lassitude.
3. Contemplate the infinite.
4. Tea.
A seal point kitten with folded paws sitting on a lap looking like the cat who got the cream. Probably because she did.
A seal point kitten stretches and scratches on a scratching post sitting on a funky rug (that's honestly ugly but good at hiding the vomit stains).
I am so grateful for this little chaos gremlin. Even when things are dark and scary she brings joy and reminds me to be present.

This is going to be cat grass. Theoretically. I'll give you three guesses who is responsible but you'll probably only need one.
29.01.2026 22:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Amazon just announced another round of 16,000 layoffs, months after it laid off 14,000 workers.
Reminder that Amazon CEO Andy Jassy raked in over $40M in 2024.
And Amazon is spending at least $75 million producing and promoting the Melania documentary.
The system is rigged.

A photo of the Chattahoochee River includes the words 'Ai steals from artists. It steals from authors. It harms the planet. AI 'art' is not art.' Because fuck AI, that's why.
I'm sick of my IRL acquaintances spreading shitty AI 'art' on Facebook like, 'Oh, it's just fun!' It's not fun. It's regurgitated plagiarism, and it's not art.

Having a day job doesnβt mean youβre not a proper writer. Writing for children doesnβt mean youβre not a proper writer. Being unpublished doesnβt mean youβre not a proper writer.
Oh, and thereβs no such thing as a proper writer. Only writers, and those who donβt.
