I think the latter. Missing something in their lives, needing to be part of something, wanting to be liked or accepted. Probably been carrying some form of insecurity, damage and emptiness from childhood. Not unlike a lot of the white protesters too.

I ventured onto Tik Tok where I saw several different videos of black people - who were frankly old enough to know better - draped in England flags whilst marching along and uttering absolute nonsense at the protest on Saturday…..I had to log off for my own sanity

On the positive side, maybe his children now have a slim possibility of growing up around a more positive influence

Yeah she was great. I was reflecting on the growth of Syd and Richie’s relationship. I like their friendship but I loved their fights too! I miss the FIRE of S1 - remember when she nearly stabbed him?! It’s good that they’ve all grown as individuals but S1 still
remains top for me!
