In GW6 they were both first choice strikers with poor data playing for top 4 teams. That’s the same today.
Also the other strikers then and now aren’t great either.

You could fly up the rankings with that team

It would change the template though. Imagine if we all find out tomorrow that we don’t actually get semenyo points for GW7

Or make the points secretly random, like price adjustments

Yep completely agree that part is dull.
It can suddenly change though.
We just need 2 or 3 full backs to look good and we’ll be back on them.
Even if Nuno sorts out the defence then Diouf becomes gold.

But defcons aren’t causing that death. The clubs are.
If defenders were scoring/assisting then we’d have a broader pool to choose from.
Defcons have given us a source of points while we wait for attacking defenders to emerge again.

I don’t understand the argument against defcons.
Defcons aren’t stopping Fulham from scoring.
They havent stopped expensive fullbacks from getting attacking returns.
They have given us cheap defenders who score points, instead of expensive fullbacks who don’t.
We can spend more on attackers now.

Pretty boring but Gabriel, Saka and Gyok.
Like Eze if he gets the minutes.
Don’t like the Raya pick.

None of them are very appealing.
Mateta great data but mins/tiredness risk, JP good fixtures but poor data (maybe coz of red cards)
Bowen scores goals but bad team and data not great
Gyok in the best team and good fixtures but data isn’t great either.
The cheap guys all have issues too.

But of those two I prefer Sarr. He’s one of my favourite picks in the game

I would definitely wait. Playing BB after international break, you’d want to leave transfers as late as you can.

Bowen has significantly over performed xG the last 2 years. He’s an elite finisher, but also just jammy sometimes.
I like your idea of having both.

If Palace didn’t have Europe I’d say Mateta. But they do, and he will get tired.
So performance could drop, or minutes shared with Nketia, or both.

Definitely not. Gabriel scores on average 1 goal every 10 games. So he might score next week, but probably won’t.

Give defcons a go, you might like it. Cheap defenders who get points can be more exciting than expensive fullbacks who don’t get points.
I’ve had Munoz since GW1. Can’t say I’ve found his blanks that interesting.
