Star Trek Insurrection scene. We're outside on a earth like planet. Worf is sitting outside against a rock. He's wearing a sort of two tone blue top, very nice gradient, like a denim vest against a seafoam base layer. He's making an intense crazy face and his eyes are on fire but not literally just figuratively. Closed caption reads, "Definitely feeling aggressive tendencies, sir!"

I know the real answer is they’re both insanely popular shows owned by the same network so it behooves them to cross-promote them. But they’re so different in tone I find it really funny.

Which brings up an interesting web where both shows exist as television shows in each other’s universes.

There are a couple instances where Lorelei mentions The Sopranos in dialogue and at point, Gilmore Girls is on the TV I think in Uncle Junior’s house.

Has anyone discussed the crossover references between Gilmore Girls and The Sopranos?

Deleting my Instagram felt surprisingly hard. Which I feel speaks to how addicting this all is. A social media app shouldn’t make feel that way. But now I’m wondering what I’m going to do to entertain myself when I’m on the toilet. Be alone with my own thoughts??

What’s really funny is I didn’t keep up with this at all because I could not stay interested in SATC.

Tony Soprano is my comfort character

SATC 1x4: Ok I think we’re getting into the rhythm. This was a great episode. The scene where Carrie is picking up all the girls in her cab on the way to meet Big so they can counsel Charlotte has been my fave so far. That scene makes the perfect pitch for this show.

SATC 1x3: Ok genuinely fun episode, I’m really liking the chemistry between the 4 ladies. Comparing the “war” between singles and married people to the Irish Troubles is crazy lmaooo

SATC 1x2: SJP is great to watch. Was a little weary of 3 conventionally attractive women feeling insecure compared to models. But Samantha is so great because she’s unabashedly confident. Maybe I’m a hater but I don’t find Mr. Big very charming, he’s just orbiting Carrie in an inorganic way.
