If there is ever some accountability, that will be a big story.

Well, to be fair, competency probably isn't in the job description. However, blind loyalty and ability to embrace corruption probably are in the first sentence.

The colors are so vibrant, the blooms so full. They sure don't look like they've been through a storm.They exude joy. Pure joy.

Take the train between DC and NYC and engage with as many people as possible. In person. Let people take selfies they'll post for their friends and family to see. Leave them with a very short but quotable message they can share.

Go on, cut the cord with X. If you do it, others will follow.

If you really want to counter right-wing narratives, sit front and center at SOTU with several signs to get your message across to 30 million viewers.

Then appear at rallies and town halls and community events everywhere and let the media cover you.

I triple dog dare you to quit X cold turkey and see what happens.

If the NYT comes to you looking for you to comment on some dumb X post, just tell them you didn't see it because you're not wasting your time on crap. Then turn the conversation and deliver whatever sound bite you want to circulate.

What crap.

1. Journalists follow pols. Pols have aides to scour real news sites.

2. Pols can best counter right-wing narratives in person--at town halls, going door to door. Opinions generally are not swayed via social media.

3. Citing X is not news or journalism. It's lazy junk regurgitation.

Have to say, after the dignity of the medal ceremony, I find this behind-the-scenes bro culture very disappointing, especially when they're all so seemingly happy to kick it with someone who seems to be a key enabler of government corruption and the destruction of democracy.

Watching this, I can't help but wonder if any of administrators at the high schools these hockey players attended also are watching. And I'm wondering how many times those administrators said to these guys, "The kind of people you surround yourself with matters."

Epsteingate is so much bigger than Watergate.

There's no truly good reason for anyone who's not anti-America to be on Twitter.

Even journalists don't need to be on Twitter or Truth Social. Go find real news the old-fashioned way.

Trump's ridiculous media posts are not real news. Stop treating them as such. Even better, just ignore them.

I seriously question the motives of anyone out there bashing Talarico and ignoring all the main points of what he actually said in his 2.5+ hour interview.

Talarico presented his perspective, experiences & insight as a state legislator in a very intelligent, rational, reasoned, straightforward way.

And he goes into great detail about how two billionaires in Texas have taken over the state government by essentially buying politicians and could very well be aiming to create a national theocracy.

Don't just take his word for it, do the research, Talarico says to those watching & listening.

James spends most of the time talking about key elements for change: loving one's neighbor, building relationships, finding common ground so problems can be solved.

The current problem is there are too many Dem candidates in the race for California governor, fracturing the vote.

California has an open primary, where only the top two vote-getters, regardless of party, advance to the general election.

Math says, the fewer Dems who run, the better.
